Our Editorial Process
When writing content for this blog, I rely on my expertise (I’ve been investing in property for three years now) but will also reach out to fellow investors for their opinions. I will often conduct research to find data from reputable sources (to which I link where referenced).
Property investment is a very subjective matter so a lot of what I say is my opinion only and not all investors will agree with me. For example, I stick to only three strategies: Buy to let, house flipping and buy refurbish refinance. These are the three strategies that I have personally used before and know most about. I do not write about other topics because I have no real-life experience with them and thus am not qualified nor experienced enough to write about them.
I try to provide examples where possible to back up my points of view, and whilst I cannot give you the exact address of the property, I do show images of them. With a bit of effort, you should be able to find the properties and run the numbers yourself.
Blog Monetisation
It takes a lot of time and money to run a blog, so I try to crawl some of that back by adding affiliate links throughout my content. This means that when you sign up for any of the software or tools that I recommend, I earn a very small commission.
I use these links sparingly and only ever recommend tools or products that I use myself, and will often run through examples where I use the recommended tools to analyse a property deal.
